IMPROVE THE RIDE: Rides like air suspension, installs like leaf suspension + Ride Rite. Air springs and softer rated leaf springs mean improved ride across all conditions, especially unloaded. The shocks included in the kit automatically adjust to load to optimize ride quality and handling stability.
KNEEL AND LEVEL: Allows for easier loading and trailer attachment with the kneel feature. The air springs automatically adjust for any load, keeping your vehicle level.
REDUCE DRIVER FATIGUE: Air spring suspension reduces cab noise and road vibrations. The harsh and choppy ride of the factory leaf suspension, especially unloaded, is largely eliminated. This helps reduce driver fatigue.
CONTROL AXLE HOP AND WINDUP: R4Tech utilizes the patented lower link and “J-spring”. These components stop axle windup, reducing brake hop and axle shudder under heavily loaded acceleration.
IMPROVE HANDLING WITH LOAD-ADAPTIVE SHOCKS: The shocks included in the kit vary their stiffness based on the air spring pressure. More load equates to more pressure in the air springs, and more control from the shocks. Non-adjustable factory shocks are a compromise between load conditions. The Firestone dampers for R4Tech adjust to the load, optimizing the ride in all conditions. Combined with a constant ride height, this greatly improves the handling and ride.
